Help Us Make Christmas Special for 30 Local Children

Help Us Make Christmas Special for Local Children

The Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is proud to support Shop with a Cop 2026!

The holiday season is a time for giving, and we are reaching out to our wonderful Chamber community to ask for help to support a meaningful local event.

Shop with a Cop takes place in early Dcember.

This special initiative will provide approximately 30 local children with the opportunity to shop alongside OPP officers and community volunteers, helping make the holiday season a little brighter for them and their families.

As a Chamber, we know how generous our local business community can be when we come together to support those in need. We are asking our members to consider contributing in whatever way they can to help make this event a success.

How Your Business Can Help

Monetary Donations

Financial contributions will help fund the children's shopping experience and allow them to choose gifts for themselves and their families.

Gift-Wrapping Supplies

Donations of new gift-wrapping supplies are welcome, including:

• Wrapping paper and gift bags
• Tissue paper, tape and bows
• Ribbon and gift tags

Items for Children's Gift Bags

Each of the 30 participating children will receive a swag bag. We welcome donations of child friendly items, including:

• Small toys, games and activity books
• Notebooks, pens and other stationery
• Toiletries and personal care items
• Snacks and water bottles
• Gift certificates, coupons and special offers from local businesses
• Other fun items that children would enjoy

This is also a wonderful opportunity for businesses to contribute a product, service or gift certificate that introduces children and their families to what you offer.

How to Donate

We want to make contributing as easy as possible for our members. Donations can be:

• Brought to the next Chamber BA5 networking event Wednesday October 28 5:30-7:00 at Caithkin Treatment Foster Homes or Wednesday Novemeber 25 at Jewel Box in Osbornes Castle
• Arrange Picked up by the Chamber

Every contribution, big or small, will help make a difference. By working together, we can help create a memorable Christmas experience for 30 local children and show just how much our business community cares.

Thank you for your continued generosity and for helping us support the people and families who make Wasaga Beach such a special place to live, work and do business.
